Bryan College Station Toyota Service Department

LIES I had a very frustrating experience at Bryan College Station Toyota, specifically with Service Advisor Bobby Hall. He seemed impatient, unhelpful, and almost outright rude. I brought my 2020 RAV4 in due to an intermittent EPS (Electronic Power Steering) light. After consulting with a competent Toyota service tech from out of state, we both suspected the issue was the battery. I have had that same OEM battery that came with the RAV4 for 5 years. That morning, I had to jump-start my car, and the Electronic Power Steering error message clearly stated: "Voltage Abnormality Steering Power Low Visit Your Dealer." I explained all of this to Bobby and asked for a battery check. After waiting an hour, I was told the battery was NOT the issue, and they wanted $110 to perform a diagnostic instead. Frustrated, I left and went to AutoZone, where they tested the same battery the same day and confirmed it had failed. The cranking health was poor, and the battery was indeed the problem. This experience left me feeling disappointed and like I couldn't trust the service team. I would not recommend Bryan College Station Toyota based on this encounter.
